Megastar Aazaad celebrated the 109th Birth Anniversary of Cinematic Giant Rajnarayan Dube
On 10th October 2019, Cinematic Giant and Pillar of Indian Cinema Rajnarayan Dube’s birth anniversary was celebrated with full of joy and enthusiasm at The Bombay Talkies Studios campus. Rajnarayan Dube established the legendary film company The Bombay Talkies Studios in 1934. Bombay Talkies still remains as the founding pillars of Indian Cinema and has still maintained its legacy of giving this world stars whom we know today as great artists. They all are or were related to the oldest film company, Bombay Talkies.
Guests remembered the aura of Cinematic Giant Rajnarayan Dube and Bombay Talkies in those back old days and there was a big discussion on the deeds, personality and contribution towards cinema of the cinematic giant. The makers of first mainstream feature film in Sanskrit Aham Brahmasmi and Rashtraputra, Visionary Filmmaker Megastar Aazaad and Sanatani Nationalist Producer Kamini Dube were also present at the occasion.
Garlanding the portrait of cinematic giant, Megastar Aazaad said in emotional tone reminding the pillar of Indian cinema, “We are here because of the manly efforts of Rajnarayan Dube, He established this film industry and gave birth to a new family. His sanatani personality gave this industry a cultural, sophisticated and literate environment.” Megastar also added to his speech and said, “I am criticized towards Bombay Talkies for giving me the platform and the opportunity to prove my artistic talent in cinematic world like Dilip Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Madhubala, Lata Mangeshkar, Mehmood and many other artists.
Military school alumnus and follower of Dharmaveer Dr. B. S. Moonje, Megastar Aazaad also quoted that the culture which aroused due to Rajnarayan Dube, With the vision of development implemented by Bombay Talkies, the work culture that was established will be disciplined by him lifetime and will create films keeping forever the legacy of Bombay Talkies.
On this occasion, female producer Kamini Dube reminded Rajnarayan Dube and compared him to a huge ‘Varad Vriksha’ under whose shelter talents were recognized. She also said, “She feels lucky that she was given an opportunity to work with the legendary film company The Bombay Talkies Studios and was able to make magnum opus creations Rashtraputra and Aham Brahmasmi.
Adding up to the mega success of first mainstream film in Sanskrit language, On the 20th July 2019 at Constitutional Club of India, Filmmaker Megastar Aazaad got awarded for his international achievement by the Chief Guest of the ceremony Prof. Ramesh Chandra Kuhad (Vice Chancellor - Central University of Haryana), Dr. Hari Ram Mishra (Senior Educationalist - Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi) and Shri Jay Prakash Gautam (Uttar Kshetriya Sangathan Mantri, Samskrita Bharati).
On 4th August 2019 Kashi Vidyapith honoured the much celebrated nationalist filmmaker Megastar Aazaad for his immense contribution for the upliftment and progress of our forgotten language Sanskrit.
On 3rd September 2019 at Ahmedabad Management Association he was honoured and acknowledged by the chief guest of auspicious ceremony Dr. Kirit Premjibhai Solanki (Senior Politician and Hon’ble Member of Parliament – Lok Sabha Ahmedabad) for successful premiere of his film Rashtraputra at prestigious International Cannes Film Festival and his creative contribution in Sanskrit with the first mainstream feature film of the world, Aham Brahmasmi. The historical event was organized by Samskrita Bharati, The affiliated organization of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
And most recently on 3rd October 2019, Megastar Aazaad and sanatani revolutionary women producer Kamini Dube’s Rashtraputra won awards in four categories at Mid-Day Showbiz Iconic Awards-2019. Megastar Aazaad won as Best Director, Best Actor, Best Writer and producer Kamini Dube won for Best Film.
On this 109th birth anniversary of Cinematic Giant and Pillar of Indian Cinema, Rajnarayan Dube, there was a grand celebration and maintaining the legacy initiated by him, each employee of Bombay Talkies will be honoured for his/her talent, dedication and contribution with ‘RAJNARAYAN DUBE SHIKHAR SAMMAN’.
